IAML (UK & Irl) Excellence Awards for 2014

HURRY! HURRY!

With only a few days to go until the closing date for nominations – Friday 29th November – can I encourage you to think about nominating either an individual or an institution for the 2014 IAML (UK & Irl) Excellence Awards. This is a great opportunity to publicly recognise the great work done by music libraries and collections around the country as well as by individual music librarians.

The IAML Excellence Award for Music Libraries highlights and celebrates activity in music libraries showing sustained good work and good practice with the potential to be adopted and adapted by others. The award is open to all music libraries in the UK and Ireland, no matter what their sector, size or type, and is presented every two years.

The IAML Personal Contribution Award recognises outstanding achievement by individual members of staff, whether or not their library has been nominated for an Award.

More information on the nomination process can be found at http://www.iaml.info/iaml-uk-irl/awards/excellence.html
